The great outdoors!  A thing of the past? I think not.

Outdoor living spaces are becoming ever more popular for day to day hangouts at home.  The functions of these spaces run from a modest firepit to grand outdoor kitchen and dining space.  A useful space can be created whatever your budget or getaway need.  These spaces now have the ability to become the new family gathering or entertaining spaces.

1)  Fire pits are a casual gathering space that can evolve over time.  The fire pit itself is the starting point and patio, lighting, and seating can be added at later dates or when budgets allow.

Even the most basic pit can be intimate and inviting.

Of course, fire pits can take on a more broad use when adding extra seating, outdoor lighting and landscaping.

An entire party may take place around a crackling fire.

2)  Outdoor Kitchen are hugely popular especially for pool areas or outdoor entertaining.  Many encompass a bar and dining area which is helpful in keeping guests outdoors.

Not all outdoor kitchens need to be huge.  A lot of function can come out of even the smallest of kitchens.  No matter what size space to work with, a great kitchen can be achieved.

3) Outdoor Theaters – My big favorite!!!!  So many glamorous outdoor setting can be achieved with an outdoor theater.  Many eventful nights of fun family and friend fun can come about from a space such as this.

All you need is a light colored wall to have a theater.  Paint an outdoor wall, hang a sheet, rent or purchase a screen are all great ways to set up your own theater for a little cash.

However, if you do have a great outdoor space or are planning on adding one in the future you should consider a location for a theater screen as an option.

4) Outdoor Spa is an idea that I’m in love with.  Everyone needs a getaway from the tedium of daily activities.  Why not an outdoor spa?

The feeling of enjoying nature as one cleans and purifies themselves for the day.Out door spas are a tranquil start to the day or a getaway for an intimate evening seeking sanctuary away from the world outside.

Outdoors are healthy and fresh, why shouldn’t we utilize them?
